Photoshop Activities

START HERE!!!!

http://www.brothersoft.com/adobe-photoshop-69994.html
Ref
Instead of just diving in, please take a moment to follow these 4 points.

Our class will **not** be following all the instructions from the official BBT web site, so please make note of the differences!
  1. First, carefully read the Overview Instructions
    (PDF file - 156KB)

  2. Mr. Rich's students will **not** be creating a PowerPoint presentation.  Instead, we will be adding to our Weebly web site / portfolios.
Therefore, we will **not** do Activity 5.
    (Do Activities 1, 2, 3, 4a, 4b, 6a, 6b, 6c, 6d, 6e/f.)

  3. Download Starter Images to your student folder.  On the file, right-click and choose "Extract" to unzip the images.
    (Zip file - 1.9MB)

  4. Finally, go to the site with text and video instructions to step through the activities.  "Photo Editing" on the official New Brunswick BBT9 site.

Be warned!
This site uses video instructions that were made using Photoshop Elements 5 (which came out in 2006).

However, our computers are installed with
Photoshop Elements 6 (which came out in 2007 and is built on "Photoshop CS3").

Therefore, the buttons and option boxes may be very different.  This will require students to be flexible and search for the correct options.

Consider yourselves warned!

Adobe Photoshop

Picture
Adobe Photoshop came out in 1990 and is currently the industry standard for image editing software.

Photoshop comes in the full version or as the lightweight Photoshop Elements.
