Exam Bonus Questions 

Your task is to make a high quality CamStudio video.

To qualify for bonus points, please choose to make a video from the list. -> 


Marking Criteria

1. Videos must be at least 3 minutes long
2. Videos must be recorded with audio from a microphone and must contain your voice explaining the instructions.  (Silent videos won't count.)
3. Videos must be recorded using the video settings below.
4. Videos must explain slowly and clearly the exact steps to take.  (Assume that the person you are teaching has never done this before!)

Finally, you may choose whether Mr. Rich is allowed to share your video online to teach future students.  
Your bonus mark will not be affected - you can choose to share your video or not.

Bonus Video Choices

To qualify for bonus points, please choose a video from this list.

• Inkscape - Activity 3 (Complex Shapes) 
  Choose only ONE complex shape and show how to trace it.  (Video can be done in parts and does not need every click.  Should show starting, tricky parts and the final product.)

  (Show how to choose a design and how to get started.  Show tricky parts and the final product.)
  
  
• AutoCAD - Activity 6  -Razor Blade - (Should have every click)
  
  
• AutoCAD - Activity 9 - Stop Sign - can be done in parts - don't need every single click)
  
  
• AutoCAD - Activity 10 (House - can be done in parts - don't need every single click)
  
  
• AutoCAD - Canada Flag Bonus - Explain the beginning 7 lines and the last 3 lines.  (You can draw the lines in any order you wish.)
  
  
• Google Sketchup - How to make a floor plan (complete the full floor plan - can be done in parts)
  
  
• Google Sketchup - How to raise the walls of a floor plan and how to paint the walls (and add siding and flooring)
  
  
• Scratch Final Project - Space Shooter - Explain how to get your shooter working. Then explain how to make two bad guys that fall down and can get "killed".

  Explain how to get started getting a good background and making PacMan so he doesn't move through walls.

  (Video can be done in parts.  Show only first 2 filters and then the finished product.)
  
  
• GIMP / Photoshop - Activity #4a
  Remove the lady from the snowy photo. (Video can be done in parts, but need to include some cloning from all visible areas of the lady with the blue hood.)
  
  
• GIMP / Photoshop - Activity #6b
  Show how to remove the coffee cup stain from the family photo.  (Video can be done in parts, but need to include some cloning or healing from all visible areas/people.)
  
  
• GIMP / Photoshop - Activity #6e or 6f
  Show how to repair one of these photos (not both).  (Video can be done in parts, but need to include some cloning or healing from all areas of repair.)
