Scratch (Script 3)

Script 3 includes:

  a) moving around and turning
   if touching the color of the fence
  b) if touching the color of the fence, also:
   - - make a sound
   - - change it's costume
  c) after touching the fence, backup
  d) draw with a pen
  e) if touching the actual fence (not color)

Draw a fence

Now add SOUND
so that the cat makes a noise
IF it is TOUCHING the fence.

Select the Cat Object
Select the Sound tab
Import a sound file
(Lots of sounds there!)
Select the Scripts tab
Select the Sound palette

Which block should you insert into your script????

Now, can you do the same process, except now using COSTUMES, so that the cat will change to a butterfly IF it TOUCHES the fence.

We need to fix the cat getting stuck and spinning on the fence.

Let's make the cat BACKUP FIRST if it is touching the fence.

How did we make the cat go forward?

So, how can we change this to make the cat go backwards?
