Day 1 - Instructions for Mr. Rich's BBT9 at FHS

First, students will review the Course Outline and "BBT Commitments"
Second, students will need to login to their student email.
Third, students must use Weebly.com to create a web page (for their daily blog entries).
- Go to Weebly.com and create an account using your student email.
- Create a web site using: {FirstName}-{LastInitial}-FHS-2013 example: "graham-r-fhs-2013"
- On your new "Home" page:a) Drag down a "Paragraph with Title" block
b) Add a title of "Hello"
c) Add text that says, "Welcome to my site." (If you wish to add more, you may.)
d) At the very top, click the "Publish" button (and wait, then click the (x) to make the pop-up go away) - Also at the very top, click the "Pages" tab:a) Click "+ Add Blog".
- Go to your Blog page:a) Make a new entry. State that you were successful in creating a page and a blog!
- Click to "Publish" your new entry.
- Use your school email to email Mr. Rich ([email protected]) with:
a) a basic greeting (example: "Hi Mr. Rich") b) your name (example: "My name is Jane Smith and I am in your period 2 class.") c) your blog's web address (example: "My blog is at http://jane-s-fhs-2013.weebly.com/blog" d) a concluding statement (example: "Looking forward to learning a lot in this class") e) a complementary closing (example: "Cheers," or "Sincerely,") f) your "signature"
(usually just your first name)(example: "Jane")
