There are 3 choices for how you can express your final project.
- Video (at least 10 minutes of video, whether short videos or one long video)
- Research Essay (3-5 pages and include a bibliography)
- Series of Posters (At least 3 posters that are 20"x30" at 300dpi)
Possible Topics
The default topic is "Don't do drugs." (Can include personal stories about yourself or others you know who have done drugs and regretted it.)

- CBC's "Under the Influence" - choose at least one radio podcast, give a explanation / recap, do some of your own research to prove if it is true or false, and express your opinion.
- Look up the "Virtual High School" Media Studies course and choose a topic to explain / recap, research and express your opinion.
- Use this web site to analyse at least 3 scenes from the same movie.
- Look into an ad campaign that is currently going (or just finished), explain / recap what happened and the strategies, research the effects and express your opinion. (example: "I'm a Mac and I'm a PC")
